Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-26

By connecting an account to MeterGuard you agree to these terms. MeterGuard is operated by a solo founder and provides read-only detection of revenue leakage in metered Stripe billing.

The service

We read your Stripe data (via a restricted, read-only key you provide) and re-derive what should have been billed, surfacing the gap as findings with evidence. A one-time scan is free; the optional monitor is $99/mo and may be cancelled at any time. We never write to your Stripe account.

What “detected leakage” means — no guarantee of recovered cash

“Detected leakage” is identified, evidence-backed recoverable opportunity — a figure computed deterministically from your own Stripe data at scan time. It is not a promise, guarantee, or representation that you will recover any amount of money. Recovering revenue requires you to review the findings and take your own corrective action (e.g. fixing a meter or price, re-billing, or collecting). You are solely responsible for any such decisions.

Accuracy

Findings are computed from your Stripe data as it existed at scan time; Stripe data changes, and edge cases exist. Treat findings as a prioritized starting point and verify against Stripe before acting.

Your responsibilities

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeterGuard is not liable for any business or billing decisions you make based on findings, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months.

Termination & changes

You may stop using the service and revoke your Stripe key at any time. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
