Terms of Service
Effective date: June 3, 2026
These terms govern the Revenue Recovery Audit + Stripe dunning setup ("the Service") provided by Revenue Recovery Engine ("we," "us," "our") to you ("you," "the Client"). By purchasing the Service, you agree to these terms.
01The Service
The Service is a one-time, fixed-scope engagement to analyze and improve your Stripe failed-payment recovery. It includes:
- A 90-day failed-payment analysis of your Stripe data
- Configuration of Stripe Smart Retries for your account
- A 3-email dunning sequence, written and configured in your existing email platform (Resend, Mailgun, or SendGrid)
- A recovery report (PDF) with before/after metrics and a projected 30-day recovery baseline
- An optional asynchronous Loom walkthrough at no additional charge
The Service is advisory and configuration work. We do not operate, monitor, or manage your payment recovery on an ongoing basis after delivery.
02Price & payment
The Service is $997 USD, flat and one-time, paid in full at purchase via Stripe. There are no recurring charges, hidden fees, or upsells required to receive the deliverables described above.
03Delivery timeline
We deliver within 5 business days. The clock starts when we have received both (a) your completed intake form and (b) working read-only access to your Stripe account. Delays in providing access or intake information extend the timeline accordingly.
04Stripe access
To perform the Service, you grant us read-only access to your Stripe account (typically by inviting us as an Analyst-role team member). This means:
- We can view your payment, subscription, and failure data for the purpose of the audit.
- We cannot initiate charges, issue refunds, move funds, or modify payouts.
- You may revoke our access at any time, and we recommend you revoke it once the Service is delivered.
Any configuration changes we make on your behalf (for example, enabling Smart Retries) are documented in your recovery report so you retain full control and visibility.
05Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate intake information and timely read-only Stripe access.
- Maintain an active account with a supported email platform (Resend, Mailgun, or SendGrid) where the dunning sequence will be configured.
- Review and approve any live changes as outlined in your recovery report.
06Refund guarantee
If our analysis of your Stripe data does not identify at least $500/month in recoverable revenue, you pay nothing — we will issue a full refund of the $997, no questions asked.
To request a refund under this guarantee, email steve@revenuerecoveryengine.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Eligible refunds are processed within 5 business days. The guarantee applies to the identification of recoverable revenue in our analysis; it is not a guarantee of any specific amount of revenue you will actually recover, which depends on factors outside our control (your customers, their payment methods, and your follow-through).
07Data & confidentiality
We access your Stripe and business data solely to perform the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, and we do not retain access to your Stripe account beyond what is needed to complete and deliver the audit. We treat your business information as confidential.
08Limitation of liability
The Service provides analysis, configuration, and recommendations. Recovery figures in your report are projections, not promises — actual recovered revenue will vary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it ($997). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
09Platform support
The Service currently supports Stripe only. We do not support Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, or other billing platforms at this time. If you are on an unsupported platform, contact us before purchasing.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your purchase govern your engagement. The current version is always available at this page.
